When I asked what was going on, I was simply told that the vert stab was being re-done; so far I have no delivery date. Yes, the original molds gave a twist to the tail if you didn't jig it during construction, and the airfoil was not symmetrical, but it flew OK. IMHO there are other things that should have been higher priority, like getting the jigs for the FB horiz stab corrected so the elevators can be mounted properly, getting the wing jigs corrected so that the TE thickness matches the ailerons, making mold joggles deep enough, etc., etc. It seems to me that the ES is getting the ugly sister treatment, and I've expressed my unhappiness to Lance and crew. In the three and half years between my 1st and 2nd kits, nothing much seems to have been changed. They're still handing out a manual for the standard kit, which isn't even sold any more!
