Take a wash mitt and just coat the entire airplane with solution and before it starts to dry just do it again and the bugs will just wipe off with no scrubbing. A wax/soap residue will be left behind making it easier to clean the next time. Take care not to load up the wash mitt, so rinse in the solution often. Then just spray of with the hose and dry. This works well on the canopy as well. It will not work on the oil streak underneath where a safe solvent like D-Limonene should be used carefully and rinsed well.
