We purchased our 360 already built and the battery had been moved from
behind the seats to the inside firewall on the passenger side by the
originial builder - to ge the CG into specs. We don't have rudder pedals
on the passenger side. This placement is not great since we can't take
tall people (but they got to play basketball while we watched in high
school..).
We have contemplated moving the battery everywhere in the plane but
nothing works as far as both space and CG. Thee is no where near enough
room under the cowl plus it gets rather hot in there.
I would rather have it cramp my passenger's feet than have a rearward CG
in such a pitch sensitive airplane.
