To all

Someone posted a message about the 26 pin plugs on the Lancair IV firewall
not engaging fully on the backside of the fast build firewall.  I checked
mine, I am just now starting my wiring, and found that the Nubs (bumps for
gripping) on the plug were interfering with the 6-32 lock nuts that hold the
plug to the firewall.  I ground off the Nubs about half way back from the
surface that meets the firewall which left enough to grip but eliminated the
interference.  The plugs now fully engage.  My firewall is not a fast build
so it may not be as thick as the fast build molded firewall.  If this doesn't
solve the problem, it appears that about .03 inch of the plug face can be
removed without getting into the tabs that follow the threads on the part of
the plug mounted to the firewall.
