Dan, speaking for myself only, I saw Jon's posting asking for "setting up" (like the subject line above) and assumed it was setting up the fuel flows for the IO550N. Everyone has a different take on a question like that but we all want to help. On your question of which fuel pressure to monitor in the cockpit would like to ask why you would want any pressures monitored if you already have fuel flow. I can't see the benefit of having metered or unmetered in a cockpit display once they are set and since they get tested every 100 hours or so by design. The older Cessna fuel flow gauges I had in another aircraft used fuel pressure as a proxy for fuel flow. With flow transducers I can't think of a reason why I would want it. Having said that, I flew one aircraft that triggered a boost pump if fuel pressure drops below 10psi and I owned a previous aircraft that tried that, it failed miserably and the AD required manual boost pump selection. If a low pressure warning showed up in the cockpit it probably also shows up in a rough engine or worse. What's your thought in having it available in flight?

While I think this is all good information, the original question Jon
had and I have is how to monitor fuel pressure.
