Over each of the bolt heads I ended up with a dome shape which is acceptable and desirable. I popped the 1 Bid off the gear box when cured and trimmed the edges. When placed back onto the gearbox it makes a nice surface on which to slather micro. Be sure to cover all the goodies in the gear box so that micro squeeze-out doesn't foul them. Prep the seat bottom and the 1 Bid, and then, with the help of a couple of others, mix the micro and mound it up on the 1 Bid. Then place the seat bottom into place and weight it down so that it squeezes out the micro. You want the seat bottom to be sitting on the BID over the bolt heads. This will take quite a bit of weight. It will also take a lot of micro - that's why you'll want help in order to get it done before the micro starts to set. I'll send you a picture of the seat-bottom bottom. That may help clarify the results.
