I fly into RNO, park at Mercury Air and stay at Harrah's, Silver Legacy or other downtown hotel. Downtown is preferable, cause there are busses leaving there three or four times an hour for Stead, the race site. This way you don't need a car unless you want to do some out-of-town sightseeing.
