I think we need to define "Stall Strips". My definition of a Stall
Strip is a V shaped addition on the leading edge of a wing that causes
the inboard section to stall sooner than it normally would. The purpose
being to provide earlier warning before stall occurs.
The installation that Dean Edson has is a Turbulator Kit (small vertical
fins attached aft of the leading edge) that keeps flow attached to the
wing. Dean says they dramatically lowered his stall speed.

I received the following note from Dean Edson when I inquired about
stall strips (Gary Melton LNC2 N320GG):

As I mentioned at the Chapter meeting last Wednesday, installation was
straight forward and the results amazing. As I recall the cost was in
the $350 range. I have their demo video (VHS) which you are welcome to
have.
Good Luck,
Dean
