I've been there many times trying to sort out problems, get warranty, etc. Save yourself a lot of trouble and just get a different ELT. We've had so many problems with ACKs, including trip switch failures and the false trips you're having, that we just quit installing them. I'd say 25% fail annual inspection. When they fail we just replace them with something else. The price is tempting but the quality is just not there. AmeriKing's unit has worked well for us.
