Patrick,

How handy are you with a soldering iron?  Actually, there are 2 ways you could go with this:  1) Get some of the capacitance fuel probes from Wicks or ACS, they're about $100 each, I'm sure they come with installation instructions, or 2) go to www.rst-engr.com (RST Engineering, run by Jim Weir, the guy who writes the electronic articles for Kitplanes) and find the article on how to make your own.  This article was updated in the June 2000 edition of Kitplanes.  I'm making my own (actually installing the mounts this weekend), but beware, to test them safely requires a fire extinguisher, preferably Nomex clothes or underwear, and a serious gut check.
