So sorry to hear about this.  Everyone has their own idea about insurance, but I would not file a claim on this if it is limited to the propeller.  I don't know exactly how aircraft insurance companies work, but I have seen that they are not rational and that insurance on a Legacy is somewhat hard to obtain.
