Subject: alternate static source

I need help.  I fly IFR in my LNC2 but have no alternate static source.  On a recent flight, I realized how "un-smart" this is.

Not wanting to drill more holes and add lots of complexity to my plane, I think the best solution is just a valve at my right knee to open the static port line as it feeds into the instruments.  This will vent to cabin and will cause some error, but not life-threatening error.

So where can I find a nice little (light) valve to easily hook into the cloudy tygon? lines I am using?  I looked at wicks and A-S and don't see anything of the sort.   Solutions?

Thanks,

Matt Hapgood
