Just be thankful that you didn't hit it with the prop, or you would have to tear the engine down.  This happened to our club plane (C-150) one night at Lago Vista, TX and it took a year-and-a-half to get the insurance company to cover the full extent of the damages.  They argued that the damage was limited to a broken antenna.  In the mean time, the a/c was grounded.
