The bird hit the bottom cowl right at and = below the carb. intake. I picked feathers and part of a wing out of the = intake screen. It was not enough blockage to change engine operation. = Of course there was a mess to clean off the cowl in the intake area. No = cowl damage occurred. The feathers are now hanging as a souvenir in the = hanger.
