I am about 2 1/2 weeks from first flight and have a concern about the main gear door springs.  The (2) at the rear of the doors seam to be too short.  After a few cycles they have taken a permanent set about two inches longer then they were when new.  New Lancair springs measured 5 inches long center of hook to center of hook.  I think that they need to be about 7 inches long. Has any one used longer springs?  If so where can I get them?
