Attention Rich Schramek: It has been brought to my attention that you have some potential misinformation,
and I would like to have the opportunity explain our side of the story, and
on whatever subject you would like. However It has been my experience, that
these types of problems need proper explanation and that would require much
time and have many potential interpretation problems because of the limited,
one dimension of email. So I am inviting you to come to our facility in Aiken,
SC to draw your own conclusions of just what it is we have and do. I will pay
for half of your expenses and gladly show you some of our proprietary areas
also if you agree to sign a non disclosure agreement as well. And please understand,
that like all companies including Lancair, Continental, Walter, Pratt & Whitney,
etc., we have had our share of problems, however, to assume that we are not
doing anything about them is unfair. So please consider my offer, so a fair
and equitable story can be told. I would like to leave you with one thought, there are always many controversial
stories about many things, but in this industry, flying is what's it's all about.
And we have been flying for now going on 7 years, have done things like run
all 4 Oshkosh cross country races and have around 800 hours with our development
plane of Jim Rahm's. We did not had one engine nor one gearbox during all of
this time, though most all of the other components were on it from the begining.
However, every part and every component has been in the plane for over the
minimum requirement of the 10 million cycles that the FAA and all good engineering
durability tests are based on. So no matter what you may or may have not heard
and/or seen, our stuff works and is always on display by flying literally in
the air everyday, at major air shows and at our facility in Aiken, SC. Thank you for your consideration. Al Joniec, President, EngineAir Power Systems http://www.vallnet.com
