Can we get a discussion going on what you guys think the bang for the buck is in a panel mounted GPS? I am assuming for the cost, the MX20 is IFR certified. What do they generally charge to install something like this? I now fly with Garmin 295 in my lap (and I have a cheesy Loran on the panel that always thinks it has a weak signal). What are your thoughts? I would like to purchase something like this in the near future. I know alot of people run the GNS430's as well. The Apollo looked like it was about 3K cheaper than the GNS430. Thanks.
