I personally know Three people that have Enginear power plants...<< I haven't had too much experience with these people, but at one time was negotiating with them (him) to apply my electronic Engine Management System to the engine. His expectations for features and price were unrealistic in view of my reliability standards so the deal never worked. I have looked closely at one of the installations, especially the fuel system and came to the same conclusions. In short I don't doubt your observations. When your aspirations push over the 400 hp threshold I believe you made the right choice - a turbine engine gets the job done better. I am looking for 300-325 hp and for that a direct drive auto engine can be made at the right weight while keeping the reliability.
