John
I respectfully disagree with Don Gotez. I have heard of several instances of trailing edges popping loose at altitude on Airplanes that did not have vent holes. I don't think anyone has been hurt yet but I think that it could be a serious structural failure. I would go back and drill the holes however you can. I have also added drain holes to my control surfaces to insure that water cannot collect in them. If water collects in a control surface it will screw up the balance of the surface.
