I would recommend searching the back issues of LNN for the articles
written by Joe Penas (sp).  He also spoke at several Lancair forums at
Osh and gives good down to earth instructions to those who have never
used a spray gun before.  He also gives telephone help for those who get
stuck in the middle but I believe using the PPG system he recommends will
not disappoint you.  One of his favorite sayings is "If you don't finish
your airplane yourself, you did not finish it!"  He adds that the 'new'
paints have made it possible for a novice to paint satisfactory.  Earl
