I've abandoned my idea of a pyrex sight gauge. I'd been focusing on
protecting the pyrex where it is on the visible side of the instrument panel,
and think that's doable. However, when I thought about how to keep the stubs
on the back side from snapping off when snagging the tygon and giving it a
good yank, or just whacking it with your foot or coffee thermos or whatnot, I
couldn't convince myself that it could be made adequately safe.
Maybe Lance knew was he was doing after all when he came up with the "tie
wrap it to the side of the panel" design! Or was this Don....
