I have photos of the hinges and gas struts in Greenameyers Legacy. I did
not see it with the canopy open but I'll bet its a bear to climb in and out
of the cockpit. The main downside I would see is a single failure to latch
the aft hinged canopy would prove my theory of it removing the tail. In a
non-all out race plane I would think the odds are better with the stock
forward tilter. I will scan the photos for Marv when my new computer is up
and running. Might add that modifications seem to add exponentially to the
