Yes to all of the above! The problems with heat seem to occur passing
through ~17,000 when there is a simultaneous drop in fuel flow to about 28
gph. I even tried going to full boost with the mixture full rich - this
wouldn't even get the fuel flow to increase back to normal 30 gph. Does your
fuel flow ever deviate from 30 gph (VM1000)? My takeoff fuel flow is normal
around 44 gph (fuel pump off). What could be causing the fuel flow to
decrease in the 17,000 area?
