My theory:  Don’t buy avionics until the day before you absolutely have to order them, they will only get better and cheaper.  Then put together a complete list and get quotes at OSH, I saved thousands and I had been shopping for months.  Another reason to wait for OSH is the latest and greatest will be announced there.
