Back in the early days of the 21st century, I built a Mrk beacon receiver from a kit from RST Engineering and successfully completed the calibration
procedure while located near a MB transmitter. I also constructed a di-pole antenna for this receiver and bonded it horizontally to the fuselage interior.
The audio out is connected to one of four un-switched audio inputs to my PS Engineering audio panel. But, nothing is heard while maneuvering over
our local functioning MB transmitter. So the question is, how can I test the integrity of the antenna I built?
