Here is what I use for the fuel setup.  It is ten years old now.  Nothing special is required.  The items are listed in TCM's SID97.  The two main items are the high and low pressure gauges.   Some fuel hose and fittings complete the requirements.  The hoses are long enough to use in the cockpit during idle and high power runs.   You would use such a setup after changing a fuel pump or installing a new engine or during a condition inspection.    The connections are ready to go on the engine so setup takes 10 minutes before testing begins.  Doing the setup yourself or with another person provides a better understanding of how the continuous flow system works on most of the [x]IO-XXX engines.   I've set up TSIO-520s and the IO-550 and the procedure is the same.  The attached photos show what's needed.  The sniffle valve on the fuel hose connects to the gauge end and is simply used to purge the air from the line before testing.   If the low end pressure is setup correctly, the IO-550 should be able to easily idle in the 600 range.  The high end pressure and fuel flow adjustments will get you the target T/O fuel flows.  If there was enough interest [5?] I could probably have someone here at Spruce Creek make up the kits below over the next few weeks.

One final note: If idle is problematic and your plug status is questionable or unknown, fix those first before spending time on the fuel setup.
