I always filed an IFR flight plan by phone (they recognize my phone
number and see my profile) on the ground and pick it up in the air
(weather permitting) since I fly out of an uncontrolled airport.

Did you file a flight plan both ways? Sent from my iPad

Dear subscribers,
On 11/9/2013 I flew from 5G7 (Ohio) to MYR (South Carolina) and back on the same day. I had a great tailwind at FL230 going south and I recall seeing ground speeds up to 315 kts at one point.
When I try to look up the flight on flightaware I just see the slow flight coming back - the fast flight going south is missing.
I recall that this happened at least two more times so far: The flight
going somewhere with a strong tailwind and ground speeds >300kts is missing and the flight back on the same day is there.
Is this just a coincident or has someone else experienced something similar?
Ralf
