This 1.5" scat hose is taking away valuable cold air that could otherwise be closed up and help cool my #3 cylinder which run quite hot on climb out. I'm wondering if there is any reason that I shouldn't remove this scat hose and cover the hole? (since it doesn't appear to do anything). -dr -- Regards, Dico Reijers InternetWorks Ltd. 300 University Avenue Charlottetown PE, C1A 4M4 902-892-4671 (T) 888-368-9484 (F) www.internetworks.ca www.apartmentspei.com --089e011779b5a028d404e82fc569 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hi All,

I was inspecting my bafflin= g for holes and found 3 scat hoses at the aft section of the engine.=A0=A0 = 1 of them goes to the gascolator, 1 goes to the vacuum pump and one goes to= no-where... just blows air around behind the engine and in front of the fi= rewall.

This 1.5" scat hose is taking away valuable cold air that could ot= herwise be closed up and help cool my #3 cylinder which run quite hot on cl= imb out.

I'm wondering if there is any reason that I shouldn'= ;t remove this scat hose and cover the hole? (since it doesn't appear t= o do anything).
