I have now come to fitting the perspex canopy into the canopy frame, and have discovered that as the canopy was "blown", not moulded, it is a very poor fit. (My kit was built under licence here in Australia in the early 1990's, and the canopy was produced locally.) I have decided that it cannot be made to fit without seriously compromising the appearance of the aircraft. I am therefore in need of a new canopy. I can apparently purchase one through Kit Components. However, before doing so, I thought it might be a good idea to see if anyone out there in LML land has an unused one which they would be willing to sell. I must emphasise that I am not wanting a completed canopy (with the frame attached), but just the clear glass (actually acrylic) bit. Any help would be appreciated. Regards.
