FUN-FUN-FUN Night! Dinner is a deluxe Mexican feast, prepared by Miguel and his sister. Miguel’s family operates three local restaurants and the mobile dinners are delicious, fresh and easy! Cervezas and wine will be on hand as well. Festivities will begin around 5-5:30 p.m. at the airport.

 

Saturday, October 5th

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.              Session I Ground School/KVCB Airport Conference Room

Instructor:  Peter Zaccagnino, President of High Performance Aircraft Group

Peter trains pilots of high performance aircraft, worldwide.  Peter is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and holds certification/ratings in CFI, CFII, MEI, EA500; G-IV; SES; Helicopter; HS-125; CE-550; CE 510, CE525, L-39 and L-29. Peter has completed over six hundred first flights and is an expert in testing and training in over eighty different experimental aircraft and eight different jets.  Peter has completed over two hundred Atlantic crossings, one hundred Pacific, and eight around the world trips.

1:00-4:00 p.m.                         Saturday's afternoon tour will be in the local Suisun Valley, led by on-site host, Sandy Gainza!  Included will be stops at a local winery; a place where they can stock up on heirloom tomatoes and peppers, and to a dried fruit emporium.  Optional will be a stop at Mankas Corner, for antique browsing for some and more wine tasting for others!

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.              iPad for Pilots Seminar in the KVCB Airport Conference Room

                                                Instructor: Keith Thomassen has been flying for fifty-five years; he is an Instrument and

Ground Flight instructor and trains pilots in using GPS, in the air and in the classroom.  He

has written very popular manuals on Garmin and Chelton GPS units, and writes for several

aviation magazines, contributing regular articles to the Twin Commander magazine "Flight Levels".

Keith presents seminars to flying groups, including a recent Wings Seminar on the iPad.  Check

out his website (www.avionicswest.com) that has numerous articles on using GPS.

*FLIGHT TRAINING SLOTS WILL BE SCHEDULED according to the date your e-mail request is received – schedule early for the best slots! Contact  glenda@hp-at.comAs soon as your registration is received, you will be e-mailed your training confirmation, flight training study documents and training invoice.  You can pay for your training with a check, American Express, MasterCard or VISA.  Training payment must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30th to hold your confirmed training slot.

 

Ground School and Flight Training

Expert Ground School training will be held by Instructor Peter Zaccagnino and you will receive Flight Training (in your own fueled aircraft) from highly experienced High Performance Aircraft Group instructors.  Contact Glenda at glenda@hp-at.com to register.  Training costs are $375. per person for Ground School Only; $400. per person for Flight Training Only or $795. per person for Ground School and Flight Training Package.

The hotel for this special event is the Marriott Courtyard Vacaville and the rate for a single or double room is $99.00, including breakfast.

Car Rentals

We regret that rental cars are DIY this year, as there is no longer an FBO at KVCB Airport, however Hertz (707) 469.1517 is located at the airport and are the best to work with locally.

 

NAPA Fly-In Social Events

$75. per person, and $125. per couple includes snacks, beverages and casual lunches at the airport, and both Friday and Saturday evening dinners.  Social Event payment is due to on-site hostess Sandy Gainza, upon arrival/check-in at KVCB airport.  If you have any questions about the special social events, please email Sandy Gainza at sandygainza@gmail.com.
