Liability & $160k hull. $3=2C140 There is a reason that the Lancair is expensive to insure THE LOUSY SAFTY RECORD AND LOSS HISTORY I wish that Lancairs required a type rating. Then our insurance = cost would go down and the safety record would go up. AND=2C the value of our airplanes would go up. The odd anomaly is that the pressurized Lancair is perceptively different t= han the straight Lancair 4 I gave up hull insurance on the 4P because they wanted a higher premium tha= n last year when I had no experience in type. The seemed indifferent that I have 120 hours in type in eleven months.
