A bolt or some other = object could jam the stick during flight and you would have no ability = to recover. So you want the boot to have a tight fit to the stick, = sealed on the seat pan so that nothing gets in from the pan area and a = vertical rise on the boot so that items roll away from the stick if = dropped.
