9th Annual Napa/Nut Tree Lancair Fly In and Recurrent Training Announcement
The 9th annual event takes place Friday October 4 through Sunday October 6 at KVCB (Vacaville/Nut Tree Airport). Craig and Sandy Gainza are pleased to host this event this year and hope you will join us for a wonderful weekend.
We start with dinner at the airport on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. We have an authentic taco truck dinner planned with a meet and greet. Saturday morning (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) will be the first half of the HPAT ground school, followed by make your own sandwich lunch. Keith Thomassen will present "Flying with the IPad" in the afternoon, or take a tour of local vineyards and farms (details being worked out). Saturday evening join us at the Gainza home for a wine tasting and dinner. Sunday will be the conclusion of the ground school (8:30-12:30), followed by lunch. Those remaining until Monday have the option of a wine tasting tour in the Napa Valley. Anyone arriving Thursday please let us know so that we can include you in any dinner plans for Thursday evening! Flight training slots will be scheduled around your arrival and departure plans.
The hotel for the event is the Marriott Courtyard Vacaville. The rate for single or double room is $99.00 which includes breakfast.
