There are many sealed connectors available. The ones I currently use are from Lancair-RMS connectors. Very nice, aerospace aluminum, 31 positions, dis connectable  from both sides using a bulkhead fitting. Most of the other type have a male and female type fitting with on being semi-permanently mounted.
