As the engine is time ex now it will need an overhaul before further use so the only factor to be dealt with is the inherent reliability of the engine. I cannot comment on this technically but why buy possible trouble? Hopefully the case will not be cracked now or require welding and line boring to correct fretting corrosion, as mine did.
