It slides back when you don't need it and the rails install with little suction cups.< I must have a different model of the same thing. For my 360, I have a track that runs down the centerof the canopy and the shade accordians back against the canopy roll bar when not in use. The track attaches to the canopy with double sided tape. The track is very small. Several pictures were in the Lancair Network News last year. Works well.
