I have experience with both GoPro and Contour.=0A=A0=0AGo with the Contour,=
 for sure!=A0 But, if your dealing with airplanes, go with the N Flight Cam=
:=0Ahttp://www.nflightcam.com/=0A=A0=0AIt is a Contour +2 but includes avia=
tion related goodies.=A0 Mainly the filter on the lens to cure the HD prop =
problem. (Funny looking blades)=A0 It slows the refresh rate making a nice =
prop blur.=A0 Also,=A0it includes audio cords to connect your headset and r=
ecord cockpit audio.=0A=A0=0ABut even the stock Contour has many benefits o=
ver the GoPro.=A0 Built in GPS so you can play your flight back with their =
app and show speed/altitude/ground track on google maps, Bluetooth connect =
to phone for preview=A0real time what the camera is seeing=A0and remote sta=
rt/stop, etc.. The real kicker is the lens and how it rotates.=A0 You can m=
ount the camera on its side and just spin the lens to point level.=A0 That =
alone is HUGE if you mount the camera in odd places.=A0 Helmet, wing, your =
dog, whatever.=0A=A0=0AThe GoPro lens was really designed to focus 6 ft in =
front of the camera (like on a surf board) so the edge of the video is dist=
orted, the "fish eye" effect.=A0 The Contour does not do this.=0A=A0=0AJust=
 because Foxconn purchased $200 million of GoPro, and you see them on TV, d=
