I suspect someone (actually, a person known to us :-) was trying to divert the LML discussion away from the thread on stalls... Why else would someone suggest that our good Continental engines leak or burn oil...

My continental with 400 hours on it, uses less than 1 quart between oil changes. But I had others and those were using between 1 quart each 8-15 hours.
