As far as good enough to rely on, we're talking about electronics here. Modern electronics have very finicky fabrication parameters. My company = used to fab about 100,000 test copies of a new chip so we could find = minor imperfections in the photographic work that would result in a = "wire" or a transistor being somewhat too thin. Think about that next time someone tells you they have 2000 copies of = something running in the field....
