Adam,
I have successfully used these on my TSIO-550 E.... Problem solved. Make sure each cover is flat/level with a straight edge.. Trying to screw them down too tight can cause them to warp somewhat.

Hi Adam,
I bet Mike Council from Continental, who was at Sedona could help you out with this. If you didn't capture it, his email is

Even after replacement, my valve cover gaskets leak. I am using the stock TCM p/n 655705A gaskets, which appear to be a heavy paper impregnated with something. I’ve re-tightened the valve cover screws, but the leaks keep coming back, especially on the exhaust valve covers. Will the gaskets eventually compress and seal properly? Should I try gasket sealer? Has anyone had better luck with aftermarket silicone gaskets?
Thanks,
