Well, not really. More than 2500 useful load for the older models and 1800 pounds fuel for 1500 nm range. So, dump 30g kerosene for another pax and range drops 140nm. Full fuel on a TBM is really a big number and unlike any piston. Normal operating empty is only 4100 pounds for the A model. It really is a 4 person airplane taking into account range, seating, luggage and typical trips. The new 850 has even higher useful load numbers at triple the price.
