Actually, if you just want it on an iPad it can be well
under $1000, and my NavWorx I think was something like
$2400-2600 and it displays on my PFD and MFD (Chelton)
among other boxes it can display. So it really
isn't necessary to even spend $5k these days to get
good traffic. Of course if you want ACTIVE traffic,
which would be ideal, that will cost much more. But
I see very little reason why anyone would not at least
want TIS-B these days.
