The Navion has a 14V system so I got one but haven't used it yet. I hand't thought about the external GPS plug-in limiting using the iPad for other stuff. I also have a Garmin 396, and there's GPS in the Grand Rapids Tech EFIS... which is why I was uncertain about getting the G3. What's your small cigarette lighter inverter? And ... the USB charger to the Dual GPS? Do you use them now -- with the G3? Complicated by also considering going soon to an iPhone.
