Foreflight or WingXPro. Fairly similar programs and some like one, some the
other. I use Foreflight and have not test driven WingXPro although I have
seen it on friends' iPads and am impressed. I will test drive it when I am
ready to renew, but expect that the two are quite similar. Slightly
different pricing structures but not significant. I understand WingXPro
has synthetic vision but it may not be reliable. The other nice thing about
WingXPro and missing in Foreflight is a split screen option. You could for
instance see moving map on one and synthetic vision on other. Maybe you'd
want your approach plate to take up half the screen and the IFR or VFR chart
to be on the other. John Barrett
