I used a full length carbon hinge for the ailerons on my 360.

As you can see it provides an aerodynamic seal and it looks much nicer than
the original aluminum piano hinge.

Right now the hinge has no detectable play.

The plane has not flown yet but I expect the pin to loosen a bit
after a few flights. 

Small Parts company offers straightened 304 stainless rod in
sizes space by 0.001" so if the pin gets loose I can
easily replace it with a tighter fit.

Small parts also has 17-4 PH and 17-7 PH pin stock,
but there are fewer choices of diameter in these harder materials.
