Dear subscribers,

I have a little ShihTzu dog (approx. 8 lbs) that usually follows me
around whatever I do. He just stops following me when we walk up to the
airplane.

I had him in the C182 several times before (in his little travel box)
and I could tell he just doesn't feel very comfortable once the engine
starts.

I don't know if it is the noise or the flying that bothers him. I
haven't had him in the 4P since I have zero noise insulation in it and
it is even louder in there (especially during takeoff and climb).

I saw these ear muffs for dogs in several magazines. Do you think this
will solve the problem?

Thanks for your comments on this non-Lancair-related topic.

Ralf
