First, congratulations to the Lancairians that left
Oshkosh with awards for their outstanding airplanes. On the list of
winners that Valin Thorn submitted I noticed that an Outstanding Workmanship
award went to Dan Benua for his RV-10 and a Bronze Lindy went to Gary Daubert
for his RV-8. As it turns out they are both housed in a hangar directly
across from mine at KHIO (Hillsboro Oregon). And, Darrell Gerrard has his
former Bronze Lindy award winning Legacy a couple rows over. Nice
neighborhood.
