| On the other hand, the G900x in my IV P came up with only minimum debug. One module did need to go back to Garmin at 25 hours which they replaced happily. At no time were any of the features disabled except that the unit was smart enough to advise that the GPS approach was for guidance only leaving the choice of ILS or VOR if in VMC. The entire unit remained functional while the new module came from Garmin.
I am happy with the G900x but am even happier to have the three mechanical backups.

You don't own all the crying rights and don't think tso'd units fair any better. I have two avidyne exp5000 PFD/MFD certified in the Legacy sent back more times than I have fingers and "4 months" would have made me happy if they had come back that quick. As soon as I can sell them they are gone.
