Ronald,
I have gone in and out of 2500ft runways with my IV. No problem at all. I plan for over the fence at
90 to 95kts for these runways. My normal over the fence is 100kts. Even then only moderate braking is required. I am not at full
gross of 3500 but more like around 3000lbs or less when doing this. I must admit the first few times in and out
of 2500ft is alittle unnerving. It does look really short.
My IV would be lighter then yours as I am non turbo and no presurization.
My empty weight is 1950lbs. That may make a difference. But then again a turbo has 50hp more then me.

Subject: [LML] Realistic landing speeds and distances
Hello guys
I have had my training in the IVP and I was wondering what kind of landing speeds you are using and what kind of runways are your minimums ?
I was taught 110 on Final and bout 3500ft for runway, however my stall speed is at around 70kts (buffet starts at 73-74). Personally I am thinking of getting it down to 90-95 over the fence? Than my runway should be ok for 3000ft (sea level, no wind gust), right?
So before going this route I thought it is better to ask….in the air simulated it actually looks good lol
