I believe the tube failure occurred after I made a sharp turn to runway line up. It retracted but the nose gear up light did not illuminate. It would not extend since it twisted and jammed in the tunnel. I have not had any trouble with shimmy. The aircraft has about 1,000 hours. Rusty
